Confirm Carter County Jail Release

It lists a $5 report fee and says completed records generally must be picked up rather than faxed or emailed. About Carter County Jail
The facility holds adults under county, municipal, court, and other authorized holds. Ardmore Police reports show city arrestees transported to Carter County Jail. Carter Jail Roster Limits
The sheriff states that the roster contains people currently in custody and refreshes hourly. Carter Jail Bond Discharges
A bond release is a custody event, not a final case result. The sheriff's registered-bondsmen page says improperly completed or notarized bonds will not be accepted and requires a case number once the case is filed. Defects can cause delay or re-arrest. The jail register confirms the discharge, while OSCN shows whether the case later ends in dismissal, plea, judgment, revocation, or another order.
For an Ardmore municipal matter, identify which court handled the charge. For a district case, search Carter County in OSCN and obtain an official or certified copy from the court clerk when formal proof is required. Online docket data explain legal authority but are not a jail-door timestamp.
Carter Jail Transfers Continue Custody
A sentence to ODOC changes the correct search. Sentenced men enter the state system through Lexington Assessment and Reception Center, and women through Mabel Bassett Correctional Center. Placement may later change. A move from Carter County Jail into that process is a county discharge and state intake, not community release. ODOC's offender search and records become the controlling state channels.
Federal and immigration paths need similar care. BOP's locator covers federal inmates from 1982 forward, but USMS pretrial prisoners may be housed in local or contracted beds before BOP designation. Carter Jail Pickup Logistics

Juvenile, sealed, expunged, medical, security-sensitive, and protected investigative information may be withheld or redacted. Ask the custodian to release reasonably segregable public fields and identify the legal basis for any withheld portion. A photo is a record in the Act's broad definition, yet the jail-register list does not guarantee that every booking image is retained or released. Separating the image request helps keep a photo dispute from delaying the discharge fields.
